Mac Makeup Recycling Program 2018

The beauty industry has come a long way in recent years when it comes to sustainability and environmental awareness. Makeup giant MAC Cosmetics is leading the charge with its 2018 Mac Makeup Recycling Program, a groundbreaking initiative that allows customers to recycle their old makeup products and have them turned into new ones.

The program is the latest in the company’s efforts to reduce its environmental impact. The initiative is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to creating a more sustainable future and helping to preserve the planet’s resources. In order to make the program successful, MAC has partnered with two organizations: TerraCycle, an international leader in recycling solutions, and GreenCircle Certified, a leading certifier of sustainability solutions.

Through the program, customers can mail their used MAC cosmetics products – including eyeshadow, blushes, lipsticks, lipglosses, liners, foundations, and more – to TerraCycle, where they will be recycled. Then, the materials will be broken down and reused to create new products. MAC will not only be able to reduce its environmental footprint, but also create new products with the recycled materials.

The program is open to all MAC customers living anywhere in the United States and Canada. Customers who join the program will receive a prepaid shipping label from TerraCycle, allowing them to send their used cosmetics products to TerraCycle for free. All recycling materials are accepted, regardless of brand, so it’s easy to recycle your old makeup products.

Not only does the program make it easier for customers to recycle their old makeup products, but it also provides them with rewards. For every shipment of 10 MAC products, customers will receive a free MAC lipstick. And for every shipment of 50 products, customers will receive a free full-size MAC makeup product.

In addition to rewarding its customers, MAC is also donating money to charitable causes. For each shipment of 10 products, the company will donate $1 to the We Are Not Invisible charity, which works to end poverty and empower people around the world.
